About Us

The Pelini lab examines the effects of climate change and disturbance (e.g., fire) on above- and belowground arthropod-dominated food webs. We seek to understand how changes in these food webs affect carbon dioxide emissions, primary production, and other processes. Our research uses field, greenhouse, and lab experiments in Harvard Forest, University of Michigan Biological Station, and Hawaii.
